We have a youtube channel where we post all of our videos of ceramic processing and equipment in use:  Trice Group

Alumina 3D Printing

Direct ink writing of a 54 volume % alpha alumina suspension using a Hyrel 30M printer.

Boron Carbide 3D Printing

Room-temperature 3D printing a Purdue 'P':
Aqueous Boron Carbide suspensions ( 50 vol.% solid loading) dispersed with 5 vol.% PEI (Mw = 25,000 g/mol).

Ablation Rig Operation

Here is an example of an oxyacetylene torch test of a silicon nitride radome slip cast at Purdue University and mounted to the ablation rig that we built in lab. Various thermocouples, pyrometers, and a spectropyrometer are available to collect temperature and emissivity data for a range of heat fluxes.
